Here are the final things I made in the December Making Challenge. I’ll post a reflection on the month soon.
The first couple of items are the final assignments in the Pixel Art course I finished up. The panther was a simple four-frame assignment of some sort of animated sequence. I went with a running panther, and I like the motion better than with the dragon. The second item was a bonus assignment in the course, to create a house in pixel art. It was a straightforward exercise.
I’ll mention this again in the reflection post, but I’ve come to realize that I enjoy art. I want to move away from pixel art for a bit, and decided to dig into Adobe Illustrator. I started and finished a quick course on the basics. The final assignment was to create a vector-drawing of a US flag in Illustrator using a jpeg as a base. Here’s mine.
